Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients:

Potatoes 3 (small)
Green chillies 2(chopped)

Talimpu:

Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Urad dal 2 tsps
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Broken red chillies 3
Oil 1 tsp

Method of preparation:

Halve the potatoes and cook for 3 whistles in sufficient amount of water.
alternatively you can cook in a microwave.

Heat oil, add all talimpu ingredients and chopped green chillies.
When dal turns light brown, add mashed potatoes and salt.
Mix well and serve with rice and ghee.

Notes: You can use any kind of potato(red, brown…).
