Beans with Coconut

Ingredients:

Beans 1 cup
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Urad dal  1 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Broken red chillies 5
Fresh Grated coconut 2 tbsps
Oil 1 tsp
Salt to taste

Method of preparation:

Wash thoroughly beans(if using frozen beans).

If using dry beans, then
soak beans in 4 cups of water and stand it overnight.
Drain the water in the morning and wash thoroughly.
Boil them in sufficient water for 5 minutes.

Heat oil, add urad dal, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and broken red chillies.
When dal turns light brown, add beans and cook closed for 3 minutes stirring occasionally.
Finally add grated coconut and serve hot.

Notes:
The trick for beans is to cook them right.
