Toor Dal Powder

Ingredients:
Red Gram/ Toor Dal 1/2 cup
Green Gram(whole)/ Pesalu 1/4 cup
Urad dal/ Minapappu 1/4 cup
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Whole dried red chillies 10-15
Salt to taste
Method of preparation:
Dry roast each of red gram, green gram, urad dal seperately until light brown or until you can smell the fragrance of each dal.
Heat a tsp of oil in a pan, add halved dried red chillies and saute for a minute or two.
Grind all the ingredients into fine powder.
Serve with rice and ghee.
Notes: Simple version includes just the red gram and red chillies. Generally served during weddings, this powder is quite famous.
