Arbi with Coconut


Chama Dumpala Kobbari Kura

Ingredients:

Arbi 3 - 6
Green Chiles 2
Ginger 1 inch pieces
Fresh Coconut 1/2 cup
Turmeric Powder a pinch
Salt to taste
Oil 1 tbsp

Method of preparation:

Pressure cook arbi in water for 3 whistles.
Remove the skin and slice the cooled arbi into big pieces.

Remove stems, wash and roughly chop green chiles.
Peel and roughly chop ginger.
Grind coconut, green chiles, ginger and salt coarsely.

Heat oil in a pan, add cooked arbi pieces and fry until golden brown.
Add coconut paste and turmeric powder.
Fry for few minutes and serve hot with rice.

Notes: Make sure arbi is thoroughly cooked.
