Cucumber Mint Raita


Pandiri Dosakaya Pudina Perugu Pacchadi

Ingredients:

Seedless Cucumber 1
Mint Leaves 10
Yogurt 1 1/2 cups
Green Chiles 2
Cumin Seeds Powder a pinch
Black Pepper Powder a pinch
Black Salt a pinch
Salt to taste
Oil 1/2 tsp

Method of preparation:

Wash and roughly chop mint leaves.
Wash, lightly peel and roughly chop the cucumber.
Grind cucumber and mint leaves into smooth paste in a food processor.

In a mixing bowl, mix ground cucumber and mint, yogurt, cumin powder, black pepper powder, black salt and salt together.
Heat oil in a small pan, add green chiles and fry for few seconds.
Remove from heat and add to above raita.
Serve chilled.

Notes: Make sure to scrape off the seeds from cucumber if any.
