For the past few years Pim has been hard at work bringing the food blogging community together during the holiday season to give back to those less fortunate. This year too, will be no different; there will be tons of amazing prizes to bid on and I’m certain you’ll find something that you’ll truly enjoy. Last year Menu for Hope raised $91,188.00. With the troubled economy this year, it is even more important for us to be generous and give to those to who may have as many pleasures as we do. Like in the years past, the money raised will be donated to a worthy cause, this year being for the UN World Food Program, targeted to a school food program in Lesotho.
As a die-hard foodie and an avid reader, nothing pleases me more than flipping the pages of a deliciously beautiful cookbook. Which is why I’m donating Giada de Laurentiis’ latest release, Giada’s Kitchen. If you’re as much of a fan of Italian food as I am, then you’ll know that Giada’s recipes are to die for. And this book, like all her others will be a treasure in your library. Unfortunately, I’ll need to limit the shipping to only North America (US & Canada both). The prize code is CA04.
Update: As the details start to trickle in, I’ll be updating this space with more info on the prizes offered. So please continue to watch this space. In the meantime, if you’re a Canadian blogger/sponsor who would like to be part of Menu of Hope and donate a prize, then contact me at meena@hookedonheat.com.
